Hillwalker News 2000/05  BBC re-schedule and un-reliable e-Mail

There was a time when I thought one Newsletter a month was too much. Sorry for the number of these recently but these two bits of information are time critical.

The BBC has re-scheduled The Munros through Windows and The Corbetts through Windows item in Out of Doors to 30 June and repeat on 1 July. (Originally it was scheduled for 2-3 June.)

I have had problems with e-Mail sent to both IainRWhite@bcs.org.uk and Tricuspid@bcs.org.uk  All e-mail is up-to-date so if you have not had a reply to a recent e-Mail please resend to Isys@bun.com which seems to be working well.

For interest, our objective is to answer all e-mail within 7 days (to allow us to have a holiday) but normal turnround is within 48 hours.

Just to make up for the barrage of e-mails recently (or to compound the problem), here is a little poem for you:

Owed Two a Spell Chequer

    Eye halve a spelling chequer

It came with my pea sea

It plainly marques four my revue

Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye strike a quay and type a word

And weight four it two sigh

Weather eye am wrong oar write--

It shows me strait a weigh.

As soon as a mist ache is maid

It nose bee fore two long,

And eye can put the error rite

    Its rare lea heifer wrong.

    Eye halve run this poem threw it;

I yam shore ewer policed too no

Its let her purr fact awl the weigh,

    My chequer tolled me sew.
